The following NCAA regulations apply to gambling:

Student-athletes shall not knowingly:

• Provide information to individuals involved in organized gambling activities concerning any intercollegiate athletics competition;

• Solicit a bet on any intercollegiate team;

• Accept a bet on any team representing SIUC; and

• Participate in any gambling activity that involves intercollegiate athletics and professional athletics (in any sport in which the NCAA conducts championships) through a bookmaker, a parlay card, the internet, or any other method employed by organized gambling.

The use of alcohol, all tobacco products, and illicit drugs is prohibited in all sports during practice, competition, and while on Saluki Athletic-sponsored trips. An infraction of this rule could result in immediate dismissal from the team.
