Are there any tickets available for the game at Purdue that will put me in a section with other Salukis?

Yes, we have tickets for the Purdue game which will be in the section they have designated for our fans. You can purchase the tickets from our tickets office by calling 877-salukis or The Alumni Association also has packages for this event that consists of tickets and a pre-game event. In fact, the local Chapter representative is former Saluki quarterback, Paul McIntosh. I look forward to seeing you there.

With the Homecoming Game scheduled for 6 p.m., how will that affect the timing of other Homecoming activities, such as the parade?

According to Don Castle, associate director of the Student Center, who oversees the Homecoming & Family Weekend committee, the parade time will not change from its traditional 10 a.m. start time.

With the non conference basketball schedule announced I was disappointed that there was not an opportunity for Saluki fans to "double dip" with an afternoon football game and evening basketball game (like last year with ISU/SLU). Do you keep opportunities like this in mind when scheduling or does this come about by chance?

We certainly do. With schedules set in advance for both sports, sometimes these dates match up and sometimes they don't. There are aspects of the doubleheader that I like, which is the opportunity for the out of town fan to take in both games in one trip, but some people have let us know it makes for too long of a day for them. With that said it is much more of a luck of the draw than a planned event.
