    Matt Vincent was named Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance in January of 2013. He monitors the recruiting process of athletes as well as academic performance and the APR (Academic Progress Rate) as it relates to eligibility and NCAA standards. In addition, his duties include educating staff on rules and preparing and submitting all NCAA paperwork.

    Vincent spent the last three and a half years at the University of Mississippi where he was the assistant director of compliance. Prior to his time at Ole Miss, he worked one year in the compliance department at Central Michigan University.

    Vincent earned a bachelor's in kinesiology from St. Mary's College of California where he also played football for three years. Following the elimination of the St. Mary's football program, he played one season at New Mexico State before returning to St. Mary's to finish his degree. Vincent earned his master's in sports administration from Southeast Missouri State and graduated with high honors. At Southeast Missouri State, he was a graduate assistant for the football team and a compliance intern.

    He is a native of California, and he and his wife Erika are expecting their first child in June.
