Andy Pettit

Position: Director of Facilities and Game Operations

Beginning as a student worker for facilities in 2000, Andy Pettit has worked his way up the department ladder to his current position as director of facilities and game operations, which he has held since June, 2009.

The Mallory, N.Y.-native has served as coordinator of athletics and arena operations (2006-09), graduate assistant for facilities (2004-05) and student worker for facilities (2000-03) prior to his current role.

Pettit oversees event management of all sports, while handling the day-to-day operations of athletic facilities.

Pettit received a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and master's degree in business administration from SIU. He and his wife, Katie, and son Spencer currently reside in nearby Christopher.
