Dan Rohrer

Position: Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance

Dan Rohrer was appointed Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance in June, 2009.

Prior to SIU, he held the same title at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay beginning in 2006.

At Green Bay, Rohrer was a member of the department's senior staff, where he oversaw all aspects of NCAA compliance for the Phoenix. He also directly supervised the cross country program and the academic office.

Rohrer is a 2003 graduate of the University of Wisconsin, where he majored in economics and political science. He earned a law degree, as well as a sports law certificate, from Marquette in 2006, and is a licensed member of the State Bar Association in Wisconsin.

Prior to working at Green Bay, Rohrer practiced compliance and sports law as an intern with Marquette, the University of Wisconsin and law firm Peirski & Gray. He also held a communications and research position in the office of Wisconsin state senator Carol Roessler.

Dan and his wife Amy live in Carterville.
