    Brad Taylor has served as Assistant Athletic Director for Development and Special Events for Saluki Athletics since 2007.

    Taylor primarily oversees the department's Saluki Varsity Club that reaches out to former student athletes. Among his many accomplishments at SIU include oversight of the Saluki Way Locker Campaign, the Saluki Hall of Fame weekend, and various sports-related reunions. He also helped plan the Grand Opening and ribbon-cutting events for all of the new Saluki Way facilities.

    Prior to SIU, Taylor spent four years at the Colonial Athletic Association, where he served as the CAA's Assistant Commissioner of Championships from 2005-07 and Director of Championships from 2003-05. Taylor coordinated pre-event planning for several sports, oversaw the conference's merchandising program and supervised the production of all championship manuals, among other duties during that time.

    Prior to the CAA, he worked at the NCAA headquarters in Indianapolis, Ind., where he had a hand in organizing many championship events, including the 2003 Women's Basketball Final Four. He is also a member of the NCAA Division I Women's Golf Committee.

    Taylor graduated with bachelor's degree in Journalism and Business Administration from the University of Missouri in 1999. Two years later, he obtained a master's in Athletic Administration from Ball State University.

    He and his wife, Carla, reside in Carterville with their daughter, Layla.
