Saluki Athletics Graduate/Undergraduate Internship Program

The Departments of Kinesiology and Intercollegiate Athletics at Southern Illinois University have developed a unique opportunity for graduate students pursuing their Master of Science in Education within the Sport Studies track, as well as undergraduate students pursuing their Bachelor of Science in Sport Administration. Saluki Athletics will provide internships each academic year to selected Kinesiology graduate and undergraduate students, who meet the academic requirements established by the Department of Kinesiology and have an interest in various facets of intercollegiate athletics.

Saluki Athletics Law School Externship

The SIU School of Law and Intercollegiate Athletics at Southern Illinois University have developed a unique opportunity for law students at Southern Illinois University. Saluki Athletics will provide externships each academic year (based on availability) to selected 2L or 3L students, who meet the academic requirements established by the SIU School of Law and have an interest in athletic compliance.

Diversifying Athletic Administration in Higher Education Internship Program

The Office of the Associate Chancellor for Diversity and the Director of Athletics at Southern Illinois University have developed a unique opportunity for graduate students at Southern Illinois University. The primary purpose of the internship is to provide students with first-hand experience in athletic administration. In addition, Southern Illinois University is dedicated to diversifying Intercollegiate Athletics on a national scale. As such, we have created this opportunity for underrepresented populations in higher education who are pursuing a career in athletic administration.
