11:35 a.m. - That puts my class counter at 28 for the 2012 group. The class includes six mid-year transfers and two priority walk-ons. That should wrap up the class unless there's a surprise. I'll post photos and information about the signees as it comes in. Remember, head coach Dale Lennon's signing day press conference is at 4 p.m., and it's being streamed on SIUSalukis.com.

11:30 a.m. - Another signee proud to be a Saluki, Trey Colbert:

10:50 a.m. - James Rooks, a two-star prospect from Memphis, has sent in his letter. Rooks is a 6-6, 300-pound offensive lineman that went to Frayser High School in Memphis, Tenn.

10:15 a.m. - This seems like a good time to welcome two priority walkons to the team. Jordan Bowlby (5-10, 240, Fr., Desoto, Ill./Carbondale) and Cody Pollock (6-3, 290, Fr., Crystal City, Mo./Crystal City) as preferred walk-ons. That puts the current class at 26 strong, with six of those being mid-year transfers. Still expecting another letter this morning. Check back for the latest.

9:45 a.m. - There's another one. Linebacker Carl Bivens (6-0, 220, Fr., Columbia, Mo./Rock Bridge HS) just sent in his letter. The class is starting to wrap up.

9:08 a.m. - That puts us up to 17 letters in, but we're not quite done yet. Including the mid-year transfers, the class currently stands at 23. Look for a couple more letters to come in, though.

9 a.m. - My cappuccino did not adequately prepare me to work this fast. I knew I should have gotten the 24 oz. Six more letters in. Nose tackle Ryan Campbell (6-2, 255, Fr., Miami, Fla./Felix Varela), TE Kaid Koester (6-2, 235, Fr., Carbondale, Ill./Carbondale), OL Maciej Kozlowski (6-4, Fr., Alqonquin, Ill./Harry D. Jacobs), safety Darius Merriweather (6-2, 195, Fr., Voorhees, N.J./Eastern), Jake Notario (6-4, 305, Fr., Monroe, Mich./Monroe) and defensive end Brandon Williams (6-5, 250, Fr., DuQuoin, Ill./DuQuoin HS) have all signed with SIU. Williams is the younger brother of current Saluki tight end Dalton Morgan.

8:20 a.m. - They just keep rolling in. Seven more are in and approved by super-compliance-guy Dan Rohrer. Linebacker Chase Allen (6-4, 230, Fr., Belleville, Ill./Belleville), nose tackle TJ Beelen (6-2, 270, Fr., Zeeland, Mich./Zeeland East), OL Adam Clay (6-4, 285, Fr., Westland, Mich./Franklin HS), linebacker Leonard Garron (6-3, 215, Fr., Evanston, Ill./Evanston Township HS), OL David Meyerhoff (6-4, 260, Fr., Naperville, Ill./Naperville North HS), wide receiver Shawn Mitchell, Jr. (5-10, 175, Fr., Matteson, Ill./Rich Central) and Ryan West (6-3, 205, Fr., Oswego, Ill./Oswego HS) are all in. 7:45 a.m. - And the first NLIs are in. Wide receiver Kennington Easley (6-3, 180, Fr., Dothan, Ala./Northview) was the first to get his NLI sent in to the fax machine here in the Saluki football offices. His was officially in at 7:20 a.m. Joining him in the 2012 Saluki signing class are Trey Colbert (6-0, 185, Fr., Fort Worth, Texas/Southwest), Kaleb Humphrey (5-10, 185, Fr., Indianapolis, Ind./Warren Central) and Billy Reed (6-2, 190, Fr., Lockport, Ill./Lockport Township).

7:30 a.m. - The first NLI is in, but first, here are the rest of the mid-year transfers. Our next transfer is Antonio Banks, a running back from Indiana University. In 2010, he rushed for 90 yards on 26 carries and had one touchdown. He played in 10 games and was one of only two true freshmen to play that year. Also joining the Salukis for this semester are Victor Burnett, a linebacker from the University of Washington, Elroy Douglas, who continues the SIU-Coffeyville pipeline, and Tyler Williamson, who joins the Salukis from Highland Community College.

McCall was a running back for Iowa last season. He rushed for 61 yards on nine carries in his collegiate debut before breaking an ankle. McCall is the younger brother of Saluki star thrower Jeneva McCall.

6:30 a.m. - First, to get you started, we'll give you some information on some transfers that joined the team at the start of this semester. SIU welcomed six transfers at the start of the semester, three from FBS programs and three from community colleges. First up is Nate Haremza, a 6-4, 315 lbs. offensive lineman that went to Butler Community College last year. The Grizzlies went 22-2 in Haremza's two seasons and ended 2011 with a No. 2 national ranking. Haremza will be a junior this fall.

6:15 a.m. - Welcome, Saluki fans, to the 2012 Signing Day Central live blog. This is media services graduate assistant John Lock, and I'll updating the page with information about the recruits who sign with head coach Dale Lennon and the Salukis today. Letters can start rolling in any time after 7 a.m. After all the letters come in, Lennon will have a press conference at 4 p.m., which will be streamed live on SIUSalukis.com.
