CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
2012-13 (Senior): Member of the MVC Scholar-Athlete Team...One of only three eligible swimmers in the conference with a 4.0 GPA (all from SIU in 2012-13...Competed in seven meets...Scored in all three events at the MVC Championship, the 200 IM, 100 breast and 200 breast...Set a lifetime best in the 100-yard breaststroke at the MVC Championship.
2011-12 (Junior): Competed in five meets, including the MVC Championships...Qualified for the C Final in the 200 IM and 200 breaststroke at the MVC Championships...Qualified for the B Final in the 400 individual medley at the MVC Championships, placing 13th and scoring four points for the Salukis...Tied for 14th of 37 swimmers in the 100-meter breaststroke at the Copi Coqui Invite in Puerto Rico...One of only two swimmers in the conference with a perfect 4.0 GPA...MVC Scholar-Athlete team selection.
2010-11 (Sophomore): Competed in all 10 meets for the Salukis...finished third in the 200 IM against Vanderbilt....Shined at the MVC Championships, where she recorded two personal best times in the 200 IM (2:11.16) and 200 Back (2:13.29)....Finished fourth in the 100 Breast against Lindenwood/Washington University...Named to the MVC Scholar-Athlete team and holds a perfect 4.0 GPA in journalism.
2009-10 (Freshman): Competed in nine meets in her first season as a Saluki...Captured a second-place finish in the 200 IM in her first collegiate competition against Evansville...Finished in the top-five seven times throughout the year...Swam her fastest times in the 200 IM, 400 IM, and 200 back at the MVC Championships.
High School: Four-year varsity letterwinner...As a senior, recorded times of 2:10.03 in the 200 IM and 1:08.23 in the 200 breast...All-conference selection each of her four years...Team state champions freshman, sophomore, and senior years...National team runner-up freshman year...Earned all-state honors as a junior and senior...All-State Academic and team captain senior year...Holds the school push-up record...Also competed in powerlifting, earning all-state honors twice.
