Salukis win 21 of 26 events
2012-13 (Sophomore): Honorable mention Academic All-Conference selection...Competed in eight meets...Scored in the 100- and 200-yard butterfly at the MAC Championship...Posted the seventh-fastest time in the finals of the 100 fly at the MAC Championships...Posted a season-best second-place finish in the 100-yard butterfly in the home dual meet with Evansville...Member of the 400-yard medley relay team that posted the fourth-fastest time in school history at the MAC Championship.
2011-12 (Freshman): Competed in nine meets...Won his first two events of the year, the 200-yard butterfly in a tri-meet with Miami (OH) and Evansville and the 100-yard butterfly in a dual meet with Missouri S&T...Scored for Southern in the 100- and 200-yard butterfly at the MAC Championships, finishing 14th in the 100 fly and 16th in the 200 fly.
Prior to SIU: School record holder in the 100 butterfly...Finished in the top 15 in the 100 butterfly in state twice...Named a USA Swimming Scholastic All-American...Majoring in civil engineering...Son of Cheryl and Roger Frey...Born July 19, 1992.
