Landon was also this week's USTFCCCA Men's National Athlete of the Week.
Landon tied his overall PR on a winning clearance of 2.20m (7-02.50) -- currently the top mark in the country.
Landon finished tied for third at 2.20m (7-02.50), the highest finish for a Saluki male outdoors since Darrin Plab won the 1992 NCAA high jump title.

Cameron Wright enters his fourth season as the men's track and field head coach at Southern Illinois University. Wright joined the SIU coaching staff as an assistant in 1995 under hall-of-fame coach Bill Cornell, but was promoted upon Cornell's retirement.
Last season, Wright led the Salukis to a third-place finish at the Missouri Valley Conference Indoor Championship - their best indoor season since winning the conference title in 1992. A former Saluki standout in the high jump, Wright didn't stop there.
Grabbing runner-up honors at the MVC Outdoor Championships, SIU completed its best outdoor season since 1995. The Salukis would proceed to send five athletes to the NCAA Mideast Regionals and two athletes in freshmen Ray Scotten and Felix Anderson to the NCAA National Championships.
During the past three seasons, Wright has coached two NCAA Division I All-Americans, seven national qualifiers, 30 All-Missouri Valley Conference selections, and 20 MVC champions. During his years as an assistant coach, Wright helped coach two All-Americans, six national qualifiers, 21 All-MVC picks, and 11 MVC champions.
Wright has also worked with 1996 NCAA qualifier, Stephanie Smith, who holds the women's outdoor high jump record at SIU with a leap of 5-9.75. He also helped coach 1999 MVC 400-meter hurdle champion Loren King.
Wright has numerous athletic accomplishments to his credit. Wright's personal best of 7-6.5 in the high jump at the 1996 Olympic Trials qualified him for the United States Olympic team at the Atlanta Games. Also in 1996, Wright was named SIU's Athlete-of-the-Year and received the SIU Outstanding Leader Athlete award.
He was a five-time NCAA All-American in the high jump and a four-time Missouri Valley Conference high jump champion. In 1993, he was named Most Valuable Field Athlete at the MVC Outdoor Championships. Wright was a three-year SIU track and field team captain .
In the classroom, Wright was named First-Team MVC Scholar-Athlete for three consecutive years and was a four-time MVC All-Academic first-team member. He was named an Academic All-American in 1996 as well. He was named to the Dean's List four times. Wright received his Bachelor's degree in history education in 1996 from SIU and received an NCAA Post-Graduate Scholarship.
A native of Murphysboro, Ill., Wright was the Illinois state high school high jump champion in 1991 as a senior at Marion High School. Wright and his wife, Elissa, a former SIU track stand-out, reside in Murphysboro with their son, Braxton.
