The Salukis closed out the first day of competition with three event wins.
2011-12: Competed in four events in eleven meets combined in the indoor and outdoor seasons (Mile, 3000m, 5000m, 10,000m)...Notched six combined top-ten finishes...Best finish of the year came in the 10,000m race at the MVC Outdoor Championships, where his time of 31:38.61 earned him fifth place.
High School: Academic all-state honoree sophomore and junior year...Placed third at state meet and named first team all-state junior year...Senior year state cross country champion as well as being named Gatorade Kentucky Runner of the Year.
