    2010-11: Missouri Valley Event Champion as a member of the Distance Medley Relay team... Earned all-MVC honors as part of the Distance Medley Relay Team and 4x400 Relay Team... Competed in seven meets during the indoor season and five meets during outdoor season... Notched nine top ten finishes on the season.

    2009-10: Earned all-Missouri Valley Conference honors as a member of the 4x100 relay team...Recorded five top ten finishes in the 200m during the outdoor season and three during indoor competition...Finished fourth in the 200m at the Illinois State Redbird Invitational with a time of 22.18...Season-low time was at the MVC Outdoor Championships, were he finished with a time of 21.91 in the 200m.

    2008-09: Was part of SIU's 4x400 relay team that took second at the MVC Outdoor Championships and his 4x100 team came in fourth...Finished fifth out of 22 competitors in the 200m at the McDonald's Invitational, Jan. 30-31...In the 60m he ran his fastest race at the MVC Indoor Championships with a time of 7.01 and his 200m time at the same meet was also his best in the indoor portion of the year...Finished third in the 100m at the SIU Spring Classic and sixth at the MVC Outdoor Championships...Best 100m outdoor time of 10.70 came in the SIUE Twilight meet, April 25.

    2007-08: NCAA Mideast Regional Qualifier in the outdoor 4x100 relay...Competed in eight outdoor meets, placing in the Top 10 15 times...Set career-bests in the outdoor 100m (10.76) and 200m (21.58)...Both of those marks were at the 2008 MVC Championships...Competed in five meets during the indoor season...Best finish was fourth in the 200m at the McDonald's Invitational...His other Top 10 indoor finish was in the 400m (seventh) at that same meet.

    High School: Attended Eisenhower High School, where he competed in the 100m, 200m and 400m events...Went to state in the 400m...Was named his team's MVP as a senior...Earned the team's Most Improved Award as a freshman.

    Personal: Born April 30, 1989...Majors in sociology...Son of Scott Gillespie and Cathy Haskel.
