2011-12: NCAA National Qualifier in the weight throw during the indoor season...Finished second at nationals in the weight throw, losing by only 2.5 inches...Named MVC Most Valuable Field Athlete during indoor season...Named MVC Field Athlete of the Week twice...MVC Champion in the weight throw...Named All-MVC in the shot put...Competed in four events (weight, shot put, discus, hammer) in ten meets (nine indoor, one outdoor)...Took home eight wins in the 2011-12 indoor season, and added a ninth in the hammer throw in his one outdoor meet...Only lost once all season, which came at nationals.
2010-11: Named NCAA All-American placing fourth in the weight throw at the NCAA Indoor Championships...NCAA National Qualifier in the weight throw and hammer throw...Missouri Valley Conference Event Champion in the weight throw and hammer throw...Earned all-MVC honors in discus, weight and hammer throw...Named MVC Field Athlete of the Week for Feb. 9 and 22... Notched 13 event wins during the 2010-11 season... Set a school record in the weight throw at the SIU Invitational recording a throw of 21.58m.
2009-10: Earned NCAA All-American honors with a 13th place finish at the NCAA Championships...Garnered All-American status in the weight throw at the NCAA Indoor Championships with a 14th place finish...Won the Missouri Valley Conference titles in the weight throw and shot put for indoor and hammer throw for outdoor competition...Earned all-MVC honors in all three plus the discus...Recorded ten event wins during the season, including winning both the shot put and weight throw at the Saluki Fast Start, EIU Friday Night Special, and MVC Indoor Championships...Won the hammer throw at the SIU Spring Classic, Indiana State Quadrangular, and MVC Outdoor Championships.
2008-09: NCAA Regional Qualifier in the hammer throw...Was third out of 12 competitors in the hammer throw at the SIU Spring Classic...Finished fifth at the USATF Jr. Nationals wih his top throw of 213-08 with a 6K hammer, earning him junior all-American status...Had a personal-best 190-00, which is the eighth furthest in SIU outdoor history...Longest shot put of the season came at the MVC Outdoor Championships...Finished fifth or better in the weight throw in every indoor meet...Was third in the shot put at the McDonald's Invitational, Jan. 30-31, and second at the EIU Friday Night Special in the weight throw...He finished fourth at the MVC Indoor Championships in the weight throw...Competed in six indoor events and eight outdoor events.
High School: A multi-sport athlete at local Harrisburg High School...Set a school record and placed fifth in the state in the discus (169-0)...Was named Athlete of the Year at Harrisburg High School.
