At SIU: Competed in seven indoor and six outdoor meets in 2007...recorded nine top-10 finishes...as a freshman, he finished seventh (60m) and ninth (200m) at the indoor MVC championships.

Pre-SIU: Garnered all-conference honors in the 4x100, 4x200, 100m and 200m events at Proviso West High School...led his team to a runner-up finish in the 4x200 at state...state qualifier in the 4x100, 200m and 4x200...was the Prep Top Times Indoor State meet winner in the 200-meter...boasted a personal best 100-meter time of 10.82 and 200-meter mark of 21.71.
