    Darnell earned Elite 18 Award at MVC Championships


    Saluki women finish third, men fifth at conclusion of MVC Outdoor Championships

    Ashley Gaston (discus) and Luke James (triple jump) won individual MVC titles on Sunday, and Josh Freeman (MVC Most Outstanding Field Athlete) and Sadie Darnell (Elite 18) were recognized as MVC award recipients.


    Lucas Cherry named NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship recipient

    Cherry is the first Saluki since Bryan Mullins to earn both the MVC and NCAA Postgraduate Scholarships.

    Now a former Saluki accounting major, Cherry held a GPA of 3.975 and was named All-MVC twice in his career in the 3000 meter steeplechase.
