2009-10: Earned all-Missouri Valley Conference honors in the indoor distance medley...Notched three top ten finishes in the 1500m, including a fifth place finish at the SIU Spring Classic...Finished a season-high fifth place in two indoor meets - the mile run at the SASF Invitational and in the 800m at the McDonald's Invitational...Member of MVC runner-up cross country team.
2008-09: Battle lingering injuries throughout the indoor and outdoor season...Was a member of the MVC runner-up Distance Medley Relay team earning all-conference status...Ran his best time in 2009 at the Joey Haines Invitational when he clocked in at 4:00.48 in the 1500m...Had his best mile time of the season at the Iowa State Classic of 4:21.69.
2007-08: In cross country finished second in the SIU Early Bird with a time of 19:40.78...Finished second in the indoor mile with a career-best 4:17.42 at the SASF Invitational...Placed sixth in the mile at the MVC Indoor Championships...Set a new career-best in the 1500m (3:56.22) at the Jesse Owens Classic...Placed sixth in the 1500m at the MVC Outdoor Championship.
2006-07:Culminated his freshman year with a fifth place finish in the 1500m and eighth place finish in the 800m at the outdoor MVC Championship...Ran 1:52.60 in the 800m at the outdoor MVC Championship...Saw action in all seven Saluki cross country meets as a freshman in 2006.
High School:Attended Sparta High School, where he registered third-place finishes in the 800m and 4x800 at the Class A state meet...Helped lead Sparta to a state championship in 2004...Ran a personal best of 1:56.50 in the 800m...Was Valedictorian of his class and the winner of the prestigious Presidential Scholarship...Was also a National Merit finalist.
