At SIU: Earned MVC all-conference honors five times as a junior in 2007... finished second in the 60-meter and 200-meter dashes at the MVC Indoor Championships, before turning around to finish second in both the 100 and 200-meter dashes and 4x400-meter relay at the MVC Outdoor Championships...qualfied for the NCAA Mideast Regional Championships in the 200, where she finished 20th...recorded 19 top-10 finishes in 2007...just missed all-conference honors by finishing fourth in both the 100-meter and 200-meter dashes at the 2006 MVC Outdoor Championships...garnered 18 top-10 finishes over 12 meets between the indoor and outdoor seasons...holds school record in the 60m dash...ranks third all-time in outdoor 200m and fifth all-time in indoor 200m...was a regional qualifier in the 100-meter dash, placing 29th at the 2006 NCAA Mideast Regional Championships...also a MVC Scholar-Athlete in 2006...earned 10 top-10 finishes in 13 meets during the 2005 indoor and outdoor seasons...narrowly missed all-conference accolades as a member of the fourth-place 4x400-meter relay team at the MVC Outdoor Championships.
Pre-SIU: Four-time state qualifier and all-conference selection at Lisle High School...placed in the top-three in five events at the state meet, including first in the 100-meter dash...also holds Class A state record in 100-meter dash...her mark of 12.14 broke the state record.
Personal: Carries a 3.44 GPA as a Finance major...born Feb. 2, 1986...daughter of Verneitha McGee-Bland.
