At SIU: Won the 2007 NCAA Indoor National Championship in the weight throw with a world-record throw of 83-10.25 (25.56m)...earned two more All-America nods as a junior after winning the NCAA indoor weight throw and placing second in the outdoor hammer at the 2007 Outdoor National Championships bringing her All-American honor total to four...in 2007, Riley won MVC titles in the indoor weight throw and outdoor hammer, while finishing second at the outdoor championships in the discus...she was a Mideast Regional qualifier in the hammer and discus...she won the Mideast Regional title in the hammer, and finished third in the discus, qualifying for nationals in both events...as a junior, Riley went undefeated in the indoor weight throw in seven meets, winning 11 outdoor meet titles...she was named the MVC Field Athlete of the Week five times during the 2007 season...in 2006, she finished fifth in the weight throw at the NCAA Indoor Championships and fourth in the hammer at the NCAA Outdoor Championships....also won both events at the 2006 MVC Championships, marking the first league titles of her career...was a NCAA automatic qualifier in the weight throw...was a NCAA Mideast Regional qualifier in the hammer, breaking the regional record and winning the title in that event...finished ninth at the 2006 USA Championships in the hammer...gold medalist in the hammer at the Under 23 Championships in 2006...a two-time all-conference honoree as a freshman after placing third in the indoor weight and second in the outdoor hammer...qualified for NCAA Mideast Regional in the hammer, where she finished 19th...qualified for the USA Junior Nationals in the hammer, where she won the event and broke the school record, which qualified her for Team USA at the Pan-American Junior Championships...silver medalist at Junior Pan-Ams in 2005, where she broke her own record in the hammer.
Pre-SIU: Three-time all-conference selection and sectional champ in the discus at Homewood-Flossmoor High School...two-time all-state performer.
