2009-10: Qualified for the NCAA West Regionals in the hammer throw and shot put...Named all-Missouri Valley Conference in the hammer throw...Captured the hammer and shot put titles at the Illinois State Redbird Invitational with distances of 177-05 (54.66m) and 52-06.00 (16.00m), respectively...Recorded at least one top five finish at ten different meets during the season...Shattered his previous career best mark in the indoor shot put with a mark of 56-08.50 (17.28m) at the GVSU Big Meet...Also topped a career best in the weight throw with a toss of 60-00.25 (18.29m) at the SASF Invitational.
2008-09: Did not compete
2007-08: Earned 2008 MVC honors after finishing second in the indoor shot put with a career-best 54-02 (16.51m) mark...Finished among the top-10 in his respective events a total of 14 times during the indoor season...Posted a career-best of 57-04.25 (17.48m) in weight throw at the 2008 MVC Indoor Championships.
Pre-SIU: Served as team captain for three years in high school and one in junior college...Set West Hills High School records in the shot put an discus his senior year...posted personal bests in the shot put (51-05) and discus (159-10.00) that same year...Finished fourth in state in the discus (159-00) and shot put (50-02.25) as a sophomore at Cuymaca College.
