At SIU: Won both the indoor and outdoor shot put titles at the 2007 MVC championships... finished second in the hammer at the outdoor championships en route to three all-conference honors as a junior...was a NCAA Mideast Regional qualifier in the shot, where he finished fourth to earn a trip to the NCAA Championships...earned 17 top-five finishes in 2007...was a two-time all-MVC honoree in 2006...finished third in both the indoor weight and outdoor hammer at the MVC Championships and finished among the top-six in the indoor shot put at MVCs...NCAA Mideast Regional qualifier, finishing eighth in the hammer...a consistent point scorer, who finished in the top-10 24 times in 15 meets...picked up two fifth-place finishes at the 2005 MVC Indoor Championships in the shot put and weight throw...placed in the top-10 in 12 of 14 events during the 2005 indoor season...regionally qualified in the outdoor hammer, where he finished 25th...finished fifth and sixth in the hammer and shot, respectively, at the MVC Outdoor Championships...garnered top-10 finishes in 13 of 16 events in outdoor competition.
