Bianca Stuart picks up second All-American honor at NCAA Indoor Championships

    COLLEGE STATION, Texas - Southern Illinois jumper Bianca Stuart earned her second All-American honor at the NCAA Indoor Track and Field National Championships Friday on the campus of Texas A&M.

    The senior finished with a final leap of 21-02 (6.45m), good for fourth place in her final trip to the indoor championships after finishing 14th a year ago.

    Throwers Gwen Berry and Sasha Leeth finished 11th and 16th in the nation respectively in their first trip to nationals in the women's weight throw. Berry threw 62-10 (19.15m), while Leeth finished with a final toss of 56-06.75 (17.24m).

    Both the men's and women's track and field teams begin the outdoor season March 21-22 at Austin Peay.

    Stuart's five points put the Salukis in 11th place following the event.
