At SIU: Ran in all seven SIU cross country meets in 2006, recording his top finish at the SIU Early Bird (4th)...ran in four indoor and five outdoor meets in 2007, posting seven top-10 finishes...recorded the top finish of the 2005 season in cross country, placing 28th at the Evansville Early Bird...ran a career-best 20:16.50 in the 6K during that meet...posted an indoor time of 9:24.04 in the 3,000-meter run en route to an eighth-place finish at the Saluki Booster...placed eighth in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 15:49.08 at the Ole Miss Invitational during the 2006 outdoor season...ran the 1,500 and 10,000-meter at the MVC Outdoor Championships, placing 19th and 13th, respectively.

Pre-SIU: Attended Glenbard South High School, where he was a two-time qualifier for the state cross country meet...ran a time of 15:47 as both a junior and senior at the state competition...helped his cross country team to four top-six state finishes, including a third-place showing in 2002.
