2012: Named All-Missouri Valley after finishing 10th at the MVC Championships on Oct. 27...Part of the 2012 MVC Men's Cross Country championship team...Competed in six meets in 2012, finishing in the top five three times, the top ten four times, and in the top thirty in five of those meets...Best finish of second place came at the EIU Walt Crawford Open on Sep. 7 with a time of 25:56.10 in the 8K.
2011: Redshirted...Competed in three meets, all unattacdhed -- the SIU Early Bird (9th place), the Walt Crawford Open (14th) and the Saluki Invitational (14th).
High School: Three time all-conference and all-sectional honoree...State qualifier junior and senior year...Named Chicago Sun Times Athlete of the Week senior year.
Personal: Born April 30, 1993 in Libertyville, Ill...Son of Angel Carerra and Maria Rocha...Majoring in Sport Administration...First Latino in Round Lake High School history to receive a Division I athletic scholarship.
