2012: NCAA Qualifier...All-MVC...MVC Scholar-Athlete...Four-time MVC Scholar-Athlete of the Week (Sep. 26, Oct. 3, 17 and 31)...19th-place finish at NCAA Midwest Regionals qualified him to run in the national meet, where he finished 143rd...First Saluki to qualify for NCAA Championship Meet since Jeff Schirmer in 2009...In the remaining four meets, never finished worse than seventh...Finished second at the Saluki Invitational...best 8K time came at the Bradley Classic on Oct. 12, where he clocked in at 24:37.
2011: Competed in six meets for the Salukis...Only finished outside the top ten in two of them...Out of his four top ten finishes, three of them were in the top five, including two second place finishes...Of those second place finishes, his best time came at the Saluki Invitational with a time of 25:45.9...Placed ninth at the MVC Championship...Had the top Saluki men's finish at the NCAA Regional with his 37th place finish...Finished season with an average finish of 15.8...Named the Missouri Valley Conference's Athlete of the Week and the MVC Scholar Athlete of the Week, both for the week of Sep. 13...Named to the MVC Scholar-Athlete team and the All-MVC squad...Named an MVC Elite 18 athlete, which is awarded to the athlete with the highest cumulative GPA at each of the Missouri Valley's 18 conference championships.
2010: Competed in four meets for SIU in 2010...Posted an 18th place finish at the MVC Championship with a time of 25:34.53...Posted a season-best time of 25:26.40 at the Bradley Classic, where he finished 55th.
High School: Named all-conference in track three times at Glenwood High School...Earned all-state honors in the 3200m with a ninth place finish...Notched a person-best time of 4:28 in the 1600m...Went to same high school as World Series champion and MLB All-Star Jayson Werth.
