MVC Athlete of the Week (Sept. 11)
Earned first career XC All-MVC honor after finishing fourth at the MVC Championships...Was an integral part of the Saluki women's 2013 MVC Championship squad, which brought home the first SIU women's XC title since 1992...Competed in six meets and finished in the top-five in four of them...Ran a personal-best 5K time of 17:33.30 at Notre Dame on Oct. 4 (third place)...Ran at the NCAA Midwest Regional, where she finished 32nd to help secure the highest women's regional finish in school history.
MVC Athlete of the Week (Sept. 25)
MVC Scholar-Athlete...MVC Athlete of the Week (Sep. 25)...Participated in seven meets for the Salukis...Won two meets (SIU Early Bird and Saluki Invitational), finished sixth twice, and fell six seconds shy of earning All-MVC honors at the MVC Championships...Only finished worse than 11th twice (Sean Earl Lakefront Invitational - 46th; NCAA Midwest Regionals - 68th).
Ran in six meets for the Salukis...notched three top-15 finishes, two of those in the top-ten...Best finish came at the SIU Early Bird where she finished sixth.
All-state cross country sophomore and senior year... Four year all-state in track...Set state record in 4x800 sophomore year...Festus High School valedictorian.
