Sadie Darnell took the win for the women, and unattached freshman Brandon Shemonia won for the men.

2012: Ran unattached in four meets...Did not finish worse than seventh in his first three meets...Won SIU Early Bird in first race at Southern...Finished 50th at Sean Earl Lakefront Invitational.
High School: Track team captain all four years...All-Conference all four years in five different events...Conference champion in at least two events each year in high school in four different events...Won four individual conference titles his senior year in the 800m, 1600m, 3200m, and 4x800m races...Holds four different school records...Named an All-American his sophomore year in the 200m steeplechase...All-Conference three years in cross country and conference champion his junior and senior seasons.
