    2012 (Senior):Second-Team All-Missouri Valley Conference...Made 12 appearances, all of them starts, which was third most on the team...Second on the team with six wins and third on the team with 64.2 innings pitched...Missed his last three starts of the season after leaving his start with a shoulder injury on 5/5 at Illinois State...Posted a 4-0 record and a 3.53 ERA in six conference starts...Threw his second career complete game in a 10-3 win over Wichita State on 3/31...Won his first five decisions of the season...Helped the Salukis to a 10-2 record in games he started...Struck out a season best eight batters in 4.1 innings against Creighton on 4/21...Outdueled Pierece Johnson, the 43rd overall pick in the 2012 draft, in SIU's 8-3 win over Missouri State on 4/28.

    2011 (Junior): Started 15 games...Had a 5-7 record and 6.19 ERA...Tied for the team lead with 69 strikeouts and he had seven or more strikeouts in four starts...Allowed 103 hits and 63 runs (55 earned) in 80.0 innings pitched, which was the second most on the team...Threw one complete game, which came in SIU's 5-1 win over Bradley in the MVC Tournament...Allowed just one run and had five strikeouts in that nine-inning effort against the Braves on May 25...Named to the University of Memphis Baseball Classic All-Tournament Team after his seven-strikeout, one-run performance that led SIU to a 9-2 win over Oral Roberts on March 5 when he picked up his first career victory...Won his first-ever MVC start by throwing 8.1 innings with eight strikeouts and no earned runs at Evansville, April 8...Struck out a career-high 10 batters in 6.2 innings at Creighton, April 22, in the second game ever played at TD Ameritrade Park, the new home of the College World Series.

    Prior to SIU: Comes to SIU after one-year stints at Wichita State (2009) and Seward County Junior College (2010)...Named to the All-Jayhawk League second team in 2010 after compiling a 8-4 record and 7-1 mark in league play...Posted a 3.11 ERA at Seward County while tossing 47.2 innings with 37 strikeouts and just eight walks...Appeared in eight games at Wichita State, making six starts...Threw 17.2 innings, compiling a 1-1 record and 5.60 ERA...Had 19 strikeouts and nine walks for the Shockers in 2009...Was a two-time All-State pitcher for Canon City (Colo.)
