    2009: First team All-MVC selection as a relief pitcher...Became SIU's all-time leader in career saves when he closed out a 4-2 Dawg victory in the 10th inning at Southeast Missouri State (4/14) for his 20th career save that surpassed Saluki Hall-of-Famer Al Levine's record which stood for nearly 18 years...His eight saves were the second-most in the MVC...Made 25 relief appearances, which tied for the most on the team...His 3.21 ERA was the lowest among all relievers...Struck out 21 batters in 28.0 innings of work...Posted a 3-0 record...Combined with three other pitchers to post a 7-0 shutout over Southeast Missouri State (4/7)...Struck out three batters in two different appearances...Recorded at least one strikeout in 10 outings during a 14-game stretch between March 7 and April 14...Credited with his first win of the season in a come-from-behind, 8-7, victory over Northern Iowa (3/20) when he struck out three in 1.1 scoreless innings...Saw a career-high 3.2 innings of work to help the Salukis beat Bradley in 11 innings on the road for his third and final win of the season.
