    2005: Made 48 starts as the Salukis' everyday catcher...hit .208 with 17 runs, two home runs and 34 RBI...his 34 runs batted in ranked third on the team...threw out 15 runners on the basepaths...ranked second on the team with 17 RBI in conference games alone...hit one of his two home runs to help lead SIU to a 7-0 shutout against nationally-ranked Missouri (May 17)...hit game-winning double in the bottom of the 11th inning to give SIU a 4-3 win over Tennessee-Martin (Mar. 29)...drove in three or more runs on four occasions, including a career-high of four against both Western Michigan (Mar. 18) and Indiana State (Apr. 30)...hit .316 (6-for-19) with two runs scored and seven RBI in four games against the Sycamores...hit .375 (3-for-8) with three runs and two walks at the ConAgra Foods MVC Tournament (May 25-28)...registered seven multiple-hit games and had a season-high three hits against Indiana State (Apr. 30)...held a six-game hitting streak from Apr. 8-16.

    Pre-SIU: Two-time all-conference and 5A all-state pick at Cowley College, which houses one of the most highly respected junior college baseball programs in the country...was drafted by the Texas Rangers following his freshman year...hit .342 with 41 hits, 21 runs, six doubles, five home runs and 37 RBI to round out his junior college stint...attended Highlands Ranch High School, where he hit .375 with six homers and 23 RBI as a senior.
