2012 (Freshman): Made 10 starts and eight relief appearances...Began his collegiate career with 11.1 consecutive scoreless innings...Earned his first collegiate win on 2/18 at North Florida in his first collegiate appearance...Only allowed a run in one of his eight relief appearances...His last eight appearances were starts...Recorded a career-high seven strikeouts against NIU on 3/17 and again against Missouri State on 5/24...Held Dallas Baptist to two runs off five hits in 6.0 innings on 4/14...Allowed one run off two hits and struck out seven in SIU's win over Missouri State on 5/24 to advance to the MVC title game...His 64.0 innings were fourth most on the team and his 54 strikeouts were third highest on the team...Posted a 2-0 record and a 1.75 ERA in 11 non-conference games.
