    2012 (Sophomore): Made four midweek starts and six relief appearances...Struck out 20 batters and only walked five in 22.1 innings of work...Did not appear in any conference games...Went 1-1 with a 3.21 ERA in four starts...Posted a 2.16 ERA no with record as a reliever...Allowed three runs, only one earned, in 5.0 innings and struck out a career-high five batters to earn a win against Middle Tennessee in his first career start on 3/7...Made two appearances in the final seven weeks of the season, tossing 1.1 scoreless innings.

    2011 (Freshman): Made 17 relief appearances, which was the third-most on the team...Finished with a 1-1 record and 6.23 ERA...Had 21 strikeouts against 15 walks...Allowed 42 hits and 21 runs in 30.1 innings pitched...Threw one scoreless inning to help SIU preserve its 9-0 shutout of Murray State on April 6...Threw 5.1 innings of relief on April 16 against Missouri State, which was the longest relief appearance of any pitcher on the team...Had three relief appearances that went 3.0 innings or longer and six that spanned two or more innings...Struck out a career-high four batters against MSU in that April 16 appearance...Credited with his first career victory on May 17 at Saint Louis.

    Prior to SIU: Voted to the All-Section team as a junior...Struck out 129 batters in his four varsity seasons at Mt. Lebanon High School - an average of 32 per year...Went 2-3 as a senior with a 2.41 ERA and had 44 strikeouts...Was 1-3 as a junior in 2009 and 5-2 as a sophomore...Struck out 41 batters in 2008...Was an honor roll student.
