2012 (Sophomore): Appeared in 26 games and made one start...Struck out 29 batters and walked 13 batters...His 42.0 innings were the second highest total among relievers on the team...Earned a win with 2.0 scoreless innings against Northern Illinois on 3/16...Put together a streak of 12.0 innings without an earned run from 2/29 through 3/28...Did not allow any runs in 14 of his 26 appearances...Struck out a season high three batters in four different games...Allowed three runs, two of them earned, in 3.0 innings and took the loss in a spot start against Saint Louis...Went a season-high 3.0 innings in two of his last three regular season appearances...Threw two innings of relief in the championship game of the MVC Tournament.
2011 (Redshirt):Made seven relief appearances before having season-ending elbow surgery towards the end of March...Recorded three saves on the year and had a 3.12 ERA...Had eight strikeouts against three walks and allowed four runs (three earned) in 8.2 innings...Threw one scoreless inning on March 6 at Memphis to preserve the shutout in SIU's 2-0 victory and record his third and final save of the season...Recorded saves in back-to-back games against Grambling State and Nicholls State over the first weekend of the season.
2010 (Freshman):Named to the MVC Academic Honor Roll...Made 17 appearances and started one game...Had a 1-1 record and a 9.00 ERA...Had eight strikeouts and seven walks in 24 innings of work...Earned his first career victory at Jacksonville State, Feb. 28, doing so in relief...His one start came at San Jose State, March 10...Threw 3.1 innings vs. Indiana State, April 23, for what was his longest appearance of the season...Lasted two or more innings in five appearances.
