    Appeared in 32 games and made 16 starts...Started 10 games in right field and six games in center field...Hit .175 with five RBI...Appeared in seven conference games, making four starts...Started all four MVC Tournament games in right field...Went 2-for-2 with a walk in the MVC title game, driving in a run in the sixth inning to give SIU a 6-4 lead.

    Prior to SIU: Played on two state championship teams in high school in 2009 and 2010...In those two years, Renner had a combined batting average of .380 and was only caught stealing five times in 46 attempts...Was named the defensive player of the year on the Cheyenne East football team his junior year...

    Personal: Born May 30, 1992, in Cheyenne, Wyo....Son of Rich, a teacher, and Linda, a law enforcement officer...Has one brother...Has not decided a major yet...Also played on a football state champion team his freshman year and an indoor track and field state champion team his senior year...His best friend and classmate Brandon Nimmo went 13th overall to the Mets in the 2011 MLB Draft.
