    One of SIU's top relievers returning to the team this year...has pitched in very meaningful games throughout his Saluki career.

    2005: Went 1-0 with a 3.38 ERA and one save in 16 appearances...his 16 appearances tied for fourth on the team and third among Saluki relievers...pitched in three conference games, where he held a 2.70 ERA, while striking out six in 6.2 innings...only win of the season came against Western Michigan (Mar. 18), where he struck out two and did not allow an earned run in three innings out of the pen...combined on two shutouts...earned only save of the year after striking out two in three innings against Missouri State on Apr. 16...did not allow an earned run for 12 innings in a row from Mar. 10-Apr. 16...recorded a season-high four strikeouts in 3.2 innings at Indiana State (Apr. 30), his longest outing of the year.

    2004: Bounced back from an injury suffered in 2003 to make four starts in six appearances on the hill...went 2-1, while striking out 13 batters to only four walks in 16 innings...struck out five batters in a five-inning start to lead SIU to a 22-6 win at Murray State on Mar. 18...longest outing was also against the Throughbreds on Apr. 14, where he struck out three batters in six innings to pick up his other win. 2003: Was limited to five appearances and three starts due to injury...went 0-3 and struck out four batters in 14.2 innings...underwent surgery immediately following the season.

    2002: Named second-team all-MVC and honorable mention Louisville Slugger Freshman All-American...posted a 5-4 record in 13 appearances...threw four complete games and registered a third-best 39 strikeouts in 68 innings...also pitched his way to one shutout and one save...held a 4.24 ERA...struck out five or more batters on three occasions, including a career-high of eight against Evansville (4/20).

    Pre-SIU: A standout athlete at Brentwood High School...made the varsity team as a freshman...finished prep career with a 13-5 record which placed him among the school's all-time top-five...struck out 156 batters...threw one no-hitter and three one-hitters as a senior...won a the team's MVP award...two-time all-district and one-time all-mid-state selection...was named to the 2000 Babe Ruth USA Tournament of Stars Team which consisted of the top-25 Babe Ruth players in the country...finished in the top 15 percent of his graduating class and was awarded the Academic/Athlete award.
