    Fish Fry Flyer Get Acrobat Reader

    CARBONDALE, Ill. - The Southern Illinois baseball team will host its 18th Annual Saluki Fish Fry & Memorabilia Auction on Friday, March 21 at the Carbondale Civic Center. Dinner will be served from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m., and the auction is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. All proceeds from the event will benefit Saluki Baseball. SIU will also open a three-game series at home against Purdue on March 21.

    The cost of the event is $8 for adults and $4 for children 12 and under. The dinner includes all-you-can-eat fish, potato salad, coleslaw, bread, soft drinks and homemade desserts. Carryouts are also available. 

    Featured auction items include baseballs autographed by MLB All-Stars Chipper Jones and Hanley Ramirez, bats signed by Evan Longoria and Ben Zobrist of the Tampa Rays and Mark Ellis of the St. Louis Cardinals, jerseys autographed by Cy Young Award winner David Price and former Saluki and current Texas Ranger Jason Frasor, and an autographed photo of NASCAR legend Richard Petty. Also included in the auction will be Verizon Outdoor Amphitheater concert tickets for Brad Paisley, Toby Keith and Keith Urban and St. Louis Cardinals tickets and Chicago Cubs tickets.
