CARBONDALE, Ill. - The black team came from behind to post a 6-4 win over the maroon team in game two of Southern Illinois University's fall world series. The series now stands even at 1-1.

The maroon team jumped out to an early 4-1 lead. A two-RBI single by Mark Kelly and sacrifice fly by freshman Neil Hudson accounted for three of the runs, before the black squad started its comeback.

The maroon team saw its three-run lead disappear in a disastrous fifth inning.

Five walks, an error and a wild pitch led to five runs, as the black team pulled ahead, 6-4. Brian Bajer's leadoff single was the only hit in the inning.

The maroon team outhit the black team for the second time in the series. Both teams combined to make three errors on the day, as well.

Ryan Bradley was credited with the win on the mound, while David Kington suffered the loss.

SIU's fall world series resumes Saturday as part of the team's annual family day. First pitch is set for 11 a.m., with a barbecue/picnic to follow.

Nathan Forer (maroon) and Adam Curynski (black) will start on the mound.
