    Josh Swan to miss remainder of the season with knee injury

    Sophomore guard averages 4.5 points and 2.3 rebounds per game for SIU.

    Swan begins his first season as the team's Strength and Conditioning coach. He played two seasons for SIU before suffering a career-ending knee injury. He transitioned to coaching, serving as an undergraduate student coach through the 2015 season.

Named First-Team All-State, First-Team All-City and was a McDonald's All-America nominee...As a junior, Swan averaged 22.3 points, 9.1 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 3.0 steals...He was also the Region 5A Player of the Year and First-Team All-State...In football, Swan scored 22 touchdowns, including four kickoff returns for TD, as a wide receiver last season...He was the team's MVP and was named First-Team All-State.
