Southern Illinois (11-14, 6-9) hosts Indiana State (7-19, 5-10) at 7 p.m. tonight. Good seats still available. Call 1-877-SALUKIS (877-725-8547) or buy at the door.

    First-Year Players Carry Scoring Load
The Salukis currently dress eight players, and five of them are in their first year of college basketball. In conference games, those first-year players account for 54 percent of the team's scoring.

Tony Boyle Bringing It In The Post
F Tony Boyle (6-8, 235, Sr.) recorded a career-high 20 points at Northern Iowa last week. In the last 12 games, he has made 43-of-73 (.589) shots from the field.

    Bryan Mullins Out Indefinitely
G Bryan Mullins (6-1, 185, Sr.) was diagnosed with a stress fracture in his right foot on Feb. 1 and is out indefinitely. The week before his injury, Mullins became just the second player in MVC history to accumulate 500 assists and 250 steals in a career. He joined Creighton's Ryan Sears (1997-01) as the only league players to surpass both figures. Mullins currently has 509 assists and 254 steals and ranks 11th and 5th in those categories, respectively.

100 Percent Turnover in Starting Lineup
At this time last year, the Salukis' starting lineup consisted of Bryan Mullins, Tyrone Green and Wesley Clemmons in the back court, along with Matt Shaw and Randal Falker on the front line. With Mullins out, the Salukis have completed a 100 percent turnover in the starting lineup since last season.

    Justin Bocot Shakes Off Rust
After sitting out last season, G Justin Bocot (6-4, 175, So.) has led SIU in scoring in three of the last seven games. During that span, he is averaging 12.8 ppg, including a career-high 28 points at Missouri State. Bocot has made four starts, replacing Bryan Mullins.

Kevin Dillard is Top Scoring Freshman
G Kevin Dillard (6-0, 160, Fr.) is the team's leading scorer (11.9 ppg) and the highest-scoring freshman in the league. He is shooting 45.7 percent from 3-point range this season, which is third in the MVC. He also averages 4.0 apg, which is fourth-best in the conference.

Wesley Clemmons Provides Spark Off the Bench
After starting the first 10 games, G Wesley Clemmons (6-3, 195, Sr.) has returned to his role as sparkplug off the bench. He has made 20-of-39 (.513) shots from the field in the last 10 games.
