The flagship radio station for the Saluki Sports Network -- WVZA-FM -- is getting a new address. The station has moved to a new position on the radio dial from 92.7 to 105.1 FM.

Saluki games will now be heard on 105.1 FM beginning with football in September.

"VZA's signal will now be stronger and interference-free at SIU games, both at the Arena and at McAndrew Stadium, a common complaint from SIU fans," said Janet Jensen, General Manager of Withers Broadcasting.

The 25,000-watt station will cover the metro counties of Jackson, Williamson and Franklin, she said.
