Southern Illinois University men's basketball head coach Barry Hinson has a new Twitter account and invites Saluki fans to follow him at twitter.com/CoachBHinson.
"I never thought I'd be joining the Twittersphere, so to speak, but I've become convinced that it's a great way to communicate directly with our fans and supporters," Hinson said. "My goal is to pass along interesting tidbits about the Saluki Basketball family so our fans can get to know us better."
Hinson is in his first year as the team's head coach and practice officially begins on Oct. 12.
