CARBONDALE, Ill. - Saluki Basketball will hold "Maroon Madness" at SIU Arena on Saturday, Oct. 20, in which fans can get their first look at the 2012-13 men's and women's basketball teams.
The event will begin at 5 p.m. and feature player introductions, brief scrimmages by both teams, coaches interviews and an autograph session. The first 1,000 fans will receive a free rally towel. Next Saturday is also Tag Day, in which available season-ticket seating inventory will be tagged and available for purchase.
Maroon Madness is free to the public, and fans who bring their rally towel to Davies Gym later that evening will receive free admission to SIU's volleyball match versus Missouri State at 7 p.m.
