CARBONDALE, Ill. - Southern Illinois University men's basketball coach Chris Lowery announced that senior guard Justin Bocot will not play in tonight's home game versus Western Kentucky.

"We are aware of the early stages of a police investigation involving Justin, and we are closely monitoring this situation," Lowery said. "It is important to emphasize that he has not been charged with wrong-doing. When the facts are known, we will act accordingly."

Bocot, who has started all four games this season and played in 95 of 98 games during his career at Southern, will continue to practice with the team, Lowery said.
