    CARBONDALE, Ill. - Southern Illinois University men's basketball head coach Barry Hinson made two personnel announcements on Monday.

    First, he announced that sophomore forward Antonio Bryer has left the program and plans to transfer at the end of the school year. Bryer left the team briefly in early December and later returned. In nine games this season, he averaged 2.9 points and 1.4 rebounds.

    Hinson also announced that junior guard Diamond Taylor will be reinstated to the team at the beginning of the second semester. He will be eligible to play at Bradley on Jan. 15. Taylor was suspended indefinitely prior to the season.
