2011 (Junior): Started the first four games of the season before a season-ending shoulder injury in the first half of the Western Illinois game...Passed 41-of-74 for 649 yards, three touchdowns and four interceptions...Rushed 43 times for 218 yards and two touchdowns...Team captain.

2010 (Sophomore): Played in nine games, drawing one start at quarterback against South Dakota State, Oct. 16...Was 15-for-30 passing for 231 yards and three touchdowns against two interceptions...Rushed 53 times for 222 yards and one touchdown, averaging 4.2 yards per carry...Threw a 57-yard touchdown pass and had a 20-yard rushing touchdown in an overtime victory over No. 15 Northern Iowa, Oct. 9...Had a 36-yard touchdown pass against Southeast Missouri State, Sept. 18, and a seven-yard TD pass vs. Quincy, Sept. 2...Finished the SEMO game completing 5-of-6 passes for 76 yards.

2009 (Redshirt Freshman): Named to the MVFC All-Newcomer Team...MVFC Academic Honor Roll member...Stepped in as the starting quarterback in week eight and led SIU to a 5-1 record as the starter, its second-straight MVFC Championship, the No. 1 national ranking and its seventh-straight playoff appearance...Set a new SIU single-season record for rushing yards by a quarterback by running for 588 yards on the year...Named the MVFC Offensive Player of the Week after leading SIU to a 33-0 win at Indiana State in his first career start...Threw for 888 yards with eight touchdowns and three interceptions on the year...Completed 67.2 percent of his passes, which ranks second in school history...Finished as the teams second-leading rusher and ran for six touchdowns on the season...Became the second quarterback in school history to have two 100-yard rushing games in a season...Replaced the injured Chris Dieker in the first quarter of the Youngstown State game and on his first pass he threw an 86-yard touchdown, which is the second longest completion in school history.

2008 (Freshman): Transferred from Army in October...Redshirted... Named to the MVFC Academic Honor Roll.

High School: Indiana's Mr. Football and Gatorade Player of the Year in 2007....Threw for 2,400 yards and 22 touchdowns with only five interceptions as a senior and led his team to a 15-0 record and state championship...Also rushed for 1,600 yards and 34 TDs as a four-year varsity starter, three of which were at quarterback.
