2012 (Sophomore): Preseason second-team All-Conference selection as a punt returner by Phil Steele Magazine.
2011 (Redshirt Freshman): Played in all 11 games, starting two...Caught 16 passes for 181 yards...Posted season highs with three catches and 72 yards against Eastern Illinois...Served as the primary punt returner, returning 21 punts for 160 yards, averaging 7.6 yards per return...Finished second in the MVFC and 39th in the nation by averaging 7.6 yard per punt return.
2010 (Freshman): Redshirted...Named SIU's Offensive Scout Player of the Week three times during the season... Received the Massive Mule Award once during the year, which honors the Saluki rookie with the most outstanding week of strength training.
High School: Ranked as the 41st top prospect in the state of Illinois and was a three-star prospect by Rivals.com...Was an all-state running back in Class 5A...Scored 17 touchdowns and rushed for 950 yards as a senior in 2009...Was a U.S. Army All-American nominee as a junior when he ran for 1,126 yards and 19 touchdowns...Also caught 15 passes for 300 yards and four touchdowns as a junior to lead his team to an 8-3 record and the second round of the Class 5A playoffs...
