Named to the MVFC All-Newcomer Team...MVFC Academic Honor Roll member...Stepped in as the starting quarterback in week eight and led SIU to a 5-1 record as the starter, its second-straight MVFC Championship, the No. 1 national ranking and its seventh-straight playoff appearance...Set a new SIU single-season record for rushing yards by a quarterback by running for 588 yards on the year...Named the MVFC Offensive Player of the Week after leading SIU to a 33-0 win at Indiana State in his first career start...Threw for 888 yards with eight touchdowns and three interceptions on the year...Completed 67.2 percent of his passes, which ranks second in school history...Finished as the teams second-leading rusher and ran for six touchdowns on the season...Became the second quarterback in school history to have two 100-yard rushing games in a season...Replaced the injured Chris Dieker in the first quarter of the Youngstown State game and on his first pass he threw an 86-yard touchdown, which is the second longest completion in school history.
