Kansas State-grad Cory Warren begins his first season on Dale Lennon's staff, serving as a graduate assistant in charge of the team's outside linebackers. Warren played collegiately at KSU for current Tampa Bay Buccaneers Head Coach Raheem Morris (2006-07) and was recognized as an Academic All-American in 2007.
He was a member of the Wildcats 2006 Texas Bowl team. A back injury cut short Warren's career, and he transitioned into a student-assistant coach at K-State (2008-10), where he mentored various positions on defense under head coach Bill Snyder. The 2010 team advanced to the New Era Pinstripe Bowl. Warren graduated from KSU with a degree in family studies and human services.
In 2011, Warren coached the offensive line at Hutchinson Community College.
