The No. 19 Southern Illinois football program dug itself a quick hole and never recovered in a 41-26 loss against No. 24 Indiana State on Saturday night in Saluki Stadium. SIU (5-4, 2-3 MVFC) fell behind 14-0 in the first six minutes of the game and took a loss for the third game in a row.
