    CARBONDALE, Ill. – Saluki Football has signed running back Ki-Jana Amous from the high school class of 2014, Coach Dale Lennon announced Wednesday. Amous is rated a two-star prospect by Rivals.com.

    As a senior at Mansfield Legacy (Texas) High School in the fall of 2013, he ran for 1,836 yards and 30 touchdowns. He also recorded two receiving touchdowns and returned one kickoff for a score and was an All-State honorable mention. In addition, Amous was named first-team All-District and District MVP and selected to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram Super Team. Amous was an All-District second team selection as a junior, rushing for 1,002 yards and 21 touchdowns. He ran for 896 yards and four scores in only six games as a sophomore.
